Solicited Gifts

Unsolicited Gifts

Occasionally, books are donated anonymously (e.g. dropped off at the library after hours). These books are vetted at the discretion of the Collections Librarian and Subject Matter Librarian. 

Approved Books 

  • Is taken to the Preservation Room and begins the processing workflow.

Unapproved Books

  • Select books may be sold at the library book sale
  • Donated to other libraries
  • Disposed
