Still Life Painting

Still life painting is a genre of painting featuring symbolically selected objects. This genre of painting flourished in Northern Europe, particularly in the Netherlands, during the early 17th century and later spread to other nations such as Germany, France, and Italy.

Landscape Painting

Landscape painting is a popular painting genre depicting natural scenery such as fields, mountains, bodies of water, forests, and coasts. This genre of painting is popular worldwide and throughout time: Ancient art featured fresco landscapes; an early example is a Minoan painting from 1500 BCE. Eastern Asia landscape paintings trace back to the 4th century CE and Western landscape painting emerged during the Renaissance in the 16th century CE.

Portraiture Painting

Portrait paintings can be defined as paintings that represent a specific person - it can depict the expression, likeness, or mood of a particular person. Portraiture has been around for centuries, some of the earliest representations of portraiture are sculptures known as the "Statues of Gudea." We start seeing portraiture also chisled on stone structures in Egypt and frescos in Pompeii.
