Shakespeare in Hawaiʻi
Hawaiʻi Shakespeare Festival
The Hawaii Shakespeare Festival was founded as a legacy to Professor Terence Knapp. In 2002 we began producing three full-length plays every summer and completed the entire canon (all 38 of Shakespeare's plays) in our 12th season. Since then, HSF has also presented non-Shakespeare such as Chekhov’s Seagull and Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler.
