To download and read books on a laptop or desktop computer, you'll need to have Adobe Digital Editions installed, first. It is a free program that is different than Adobe Reader.
If you wish to transfer a downloaded book from your computer to a mobile device, you will also need a free Adobe ID.
To download or transfer books to an iOS or Android device, you'll need to have an Adobe ID (get one free) and have the Bluefire Reader installed. You can get the Bluefire Reader from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android)
