"Provides basic facts regarding foodborne pathogenic microorganisms and natural toxins. It brings together in one place information from the Food & Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service, and the National Institutes of Health."

This index to journal articles is free to WCC students. If accessing this from home, enter your library card number and name to enter the index. Hint: choose to limit your search to articles with text, and to refereed journals.

Pub Med Medline Search

Made available through the National Library of Medicine. Search the standard index to medical literature. You can limit search results to articles with abstracts, to those about humans, written in English, about humans, etc.. This won't give you access to the article, but will only tell you that it exists. Check with a librarian to find out if the WCC Library or an area library has the journals you need.
