Start with a keyword search typing in the full name of your composer in quotes, i.e. "Lena Machado"
Quickly evaluate your results by asking yourself, "Is this the person I am looking for?" If not, add a "Hawaii" at the end of your search, i.e. "Lena Machado" Hawaii
After you search Voyager, you should have a much better idea of the literature/resources about your composer. Now you want to look for any books that mention your composer, Google Books is perfect for this because it allows you to do a full-text search of many books.
